DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in New York on May 26

LOVELAND, Ohio - April 25, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at the Metropolitan Pavilion on Thursday, May 26, 2016. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

USAA will also present a seminar at 10:00 a.m.: "Five Steps to Informed Financial Transition."

RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In February, the DAV-RecruitMilitary New York event connected more than 361 veteran job seekers with 56 exhibitors, including Apple, Inc., and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 711 interviews and make up to 348 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 19 events in New York, drawing 6,818 attendees and 879 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to New York to host an additional veteran career fair in September.
