Restoration Industry Association (RIA) Announces New Officers and Members of Board of Directors

WASHINGTON - April 25, 2016 - PRLog -- The Restoration Industry Association (RIA) is proud to announce the new officers and members of its 2016-2017 Board of Directors. Board positions are effective March 21, 2016 through April 5, 2017.

Chuck Violand will serve as President; Mark Springer, CR will serve as First Vice President; and Jaclyn Carpenter, CMP, WLS will assume the title of Vice President. Larry Holder of BELFOR USA Group remains Treasurer and Jack White, CR of Rainbow International remains Secretary. They will be joined by four new board members: Craig Powers, newly elected as Director; Dave Robbins, elected as Director; Glenn Woolfrey, elected as Director; and Steve Lowry, elected as Restoration Council.

"I am excited for the continued opportunity to work with the many talented and dedicated professionals and leaders who not only make up the RIA Board of Directors, but the association, itself," said Violand. "As president, I hope to work collaboratively with those within the restoration industry and profession to promote the industry, advance the profession and to also educate and empower restoration industry professionals as they begin and continue their careers."

The new Board of Directors was announced and recognized onsite last month at RIA's International Convention and Industry Expo in Orlando, Florida.
