Interview with Nevaeh Avelina Author of The School of Meaning and Creator of PONDER©

OCEANSIDE, Calif. - April 22, 2016 - PRLog -- "I feel like I just spent my life walking around in circles. I hit rock bottom and I ran in circles faster. I ran in circles until I was dizzy and threw up. Even then my ego never gave up." - Nevaeh Avelina, 31 Author of The School of Meaning & Creator of PONDER©.

Nearby sits a 96 pound spitfire who winks me over to sit down and talk over tea. There are succulents dancing happy in the swing they suspend in as the wind carries the tunes of music nearby. It's about three in the afternoon, Nevaeh holds the original copy of The School of Meaning with a deck of PONDER© cards.

"Did you want to play?"

Her energy is enigmatic. The first card she allows me to pull reads: IF WHO YOU ARE IS WHAT YOU DO AND WHAT YOU DO GOES AWAY WHO ARE YOU?

"PONDER, I will wait for you." Her confidence matches the tone in her soothing voice as she teaches me the meaning behind patience.

When I penned the last word and took a breath in, she pulled my journal from under me giggling childlike at her impatience, "Sorry! Yours must be good. You took a while."

Watching her review my answers I became transfixed by the angelic halo glowing as we talked about how I can live more authentically.

She wanted to teach me a metaphor that will change the way I view the world. She had me hold my glass of water as she began explaining to me the basics of the seven steps of alchemy.

At about fifteen minutes she asked me, "Do you believe you can be anyone you want to be?" as I nodded slowly she smiled, "Then drink because you're thirsty or put it down if you're not. Whatever you are, it is your choice. I asked you to hold the glass of water and you did without questioning me and to make matters worse, you continued to just hold it and at one moment you were struggling and still didn't take action for your pain. Why were you waiting for me to tell you that you can end your suffering by either drinking the water or putting it down?"

I froze and a wave of warmth consumed me as I let out the biggest belly laugh I've let out since I lost my Mother.

"That is life in a nutshell. Remembering that you have been in power all along. You've been told how this world operates and how to operate in it. Have you ventured off and learned for yourself how the world really operates? Have you seen the darkest places of your city and met those people in the same drug filled streets to understand where you are in the world? Most of us would say hell no. However, the same truth is for you as it is for the person who appears their story has no future-it's never too late because alchemy happens all the time and with guidance, you can learn how to do control the process."

I drank that soothing cup of water I was filled with the contagious notion that it was the water to life. I had power to either drink or put that water down.  In a time where our generation is choosing to work for themselves; becoming an alchemist is necessary to experience oneness to self to find the passion work we choose to pursue in this life. This is where The School of Meaning, a school for conscious creatives enters the scene.
