Family Business Association hosts seminar, "Financing a Family Business through Multiple Generation"

BOSTON - April 21, 2016 - PRLog -- The Family Business Association (www.fbaedu.com), an independent, non-profit association serving family business enterprises, in cooperation with Webster Bank will host the seminar, "Financing a Family Business Through Multiple Generations" on Wednesday May 4that Webster Bank, 100 Franklin Street, Boston, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Successfully transitioning a family business from one generation to the next requires thoughtful planning, strategic timing and significant financing.  How a family enterprise is funded is a key component of its growth and success; however closely-held companies face unique challenges when it comes to finances.  Learn what works for other family businesses by attending this frank discussion of "best practices" in finance hosted by the Family Business Association and Webster Bank.

Panelists include Debra Drapalla, Senior Vice President with Webster Bank; Kevin Dunn, of Dunn, Rush & Co., LLC; Matthew Henning, a Partner with Morrison Mahoney, LLP; and Laura Moruzzi, Managing Director of MFA Capital Advisors.

The panel will be moderated by Ann Meade, Senior Vice President with Webster Bank.

The event begins at 5:30 and includes light hors d'oeuvres, with registration from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.  The program is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend but pre-registration is recommended.
