I.D.E.A. Conference Turns the Spotlight on the Business of Dance
Dance studio and school owners have a new resource to help them grow their business acumen and deepen passion for the art of dance with the founding of the International Dance Educators Association (I.D.E.A.). This conference will provide seminars, workshops and discussion groups aimed at every aspect of business a dance business owner may face.
This three-day crash course in studio management offers solution-oriented seminars and workshops, including SEO and digital marketing, maximizing class schedules, student and employee retention, and managing multiple locations. Breakout sessions will allow dance school owners, ranging from newbies to veterans at studios large and small, to share challenges and experiences with their peers.
"The IDEA Conference presents a unique opportunity for dance studio owners to learn from and share with people who run successful businesses and have a deep passion for the art of dance," explains Founder and CEO Rhee Gold. The lineup of expert speakers includes Maureen Gelchion of the Astoria Dance Center, Michelle Rogers from North Carolina's Miller Street Dance Academy, Hedy Perna of the Perna Dance Center and many more.
But this weekend isn't all about business. Seminars also cover more personal topics such as balancing family while running a dance studio or incorporating community service and social responsibility into your mission statement. IDEA Conference attendees will also have access to an on-site trade show displaying the latest dancewear, costumes, curriculum software, and creative studio profit center ideas for dance studio owners.
"The IDEA Conference meets a major need in the dance world," explains Founder and CEO Rhee Gold. "It will provide the resources that every dance studio owner may need to grow their business and rejuvenate their dance school."
