How was WIL created?

Whoislogo is an idea that I started to develop in June of 2013 inspired by applications dedicated to augmented reality. After the study phase of the technology and the creation of the demo version in 2015, and as a result of further market research, it was decided to radically change the road and completely rewrite the app and website. So in January 2016 the development of the app for both iOS and Android, and the website was completed.

To allow the project to grow and to reach as many users as possible, it has been present since March 15th  on the crowdfunding platform kickstarter.

What does WIL offer?

Today, companies need to be present on many platforms, to be easily traceable, on social media, on online bidding sites, to interact and capture attention and user curiosity.

Because online presence is increasing, it may be difficult to indicate all the ways in which customers can get in touch with a company. The most traditional method used by companies to be found is through classic advertising. But in an age where everything is instant and easy to find there was a need to create something to make traceable information where needed, when needed and opening direct and fast communication channels. Whoislogo satisfies these needs. The application's strength comes from the idea of turning the logo of each company into a powerful communication channel, through a scanning software. When WIL reads the logo of one of the companies that have uploaded their logo in the application database, it recognizes it and takes the user to a page that collects, in one virtual place, all  of the companies contact information. From the classic ones, like physical addresses, email, phone numbers, contacts, websites, addresses, social media  and links to dedicated offers ... etc.

With WIL, companies can use their own logo as an instant advertising system similarly, users can gain immediate access to a company's complete contact details and online platform listings with the simple click of a button.
