PDT Architects Hires Senior Medical Planner

CINCINNATI - April 20, 2016 - PRLog -- PDT Architects has hired Jim Harrell, FAIA, FACHA, EDAC, LEED AP as Senior Medical Planner in its Healthcare Design Market. Mr. Harrell brings to PDT 52 years of past experience in medical space planning and programming. A skilled medical planner and healthcare architectural designer, Mr. Harrell's practice is exclusively focused on creating environments for the delivery of healthcare.

Mr. Harrell is a founding member of the Committee to Recommend Standards for Newborn ICU Design, and also helped draft adult ICU standards and recommendations for safe patient handling/movement as well as women's healthcare environments. He is a frequent speaker at international healthcare design symposia and a contributing writer on healthcare design for international healthcare design publications.  Affiliated with many reputable professional organizations, he is especially noted for innovation in critical care surroundings. Mr. Harrell has worked with many top local healthcare clients to include Cincinnati Children's Medical Hospital, UC Health, The Urology Group, TriHealth, Mercy Health, Wellington Sports Medicine, and St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
