Denis Welch Motorsport At The 2016 Donington Historic Festival

BURTON ON TRENT, U.K. - April 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Over the Bank Holiday Weekend, the Donington Historic Festival will showcase some 400 cars including: Grand Prix cars, Le Mans prototypes, GT cars, Sportscars and Touring cars. The paddock is open and accessible to all spectators, enabling you to get up close to the sights, sounds and smells of classic racing cars. It's also a great opportunity to see cars being prepared (or repaired) ready for qualifying and racing.

A total of 7 cars, competing in 3 races will be transported and maintained by the Denis Welch Motorsport Team, to compete in the RAC Woodcote Trophy, the GT and Sports Car Cup and the Jaguar Classic Challenge.

The cars will be in action across the three day event with qualifying and racing action every day. First qualifying for the GTSCC takes place on the Saturday. GTSCC and Woodcote Trophy races will take place on Sunday 1^st May with the Jaguar Classic Challenge running on the Monday.

Attendees to the Donington Historic Festival, are encouraged to come and visit the team in the paddock. The event will be the first major outing for the newly refurbished Denis Welch Motorsport Transporter, being bright red it is easy for visitors to find. It's a great opportunity to meet the drivers, see the cars up close and pick up a copy of our new 2016 Big Healey Performance catalogue.
