An ERA truck and e-waste collection cages will be stationed in the West parking lot of the mall, across from H&M, for patrons to drive up and drop off equipment. Hard drive shredding can be accessed at ERA's display inside the mall, next to the community kiosk. All individuals who drop off equipment will receive a 'Think Green' reusable shopping tote. ERA accepts most electronic equipment (computers, laptops, printers, phones, tablets, stereos etc.) and will remove data from all equipment received prior to evaluating it for reuse potential. Reusable equipment will be refurbished to support ERA's Canada-wide computer donation programs while end-of-life equipment will be passed on to ERA's accredited recycling partners for responsible final processing. Media representatives are invited to attend and cover this community event.
