Ashley Russo to Compete in Dancing with the Lehigh Valley Stars

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - April 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Ashley Russo, two-time Emmy® award-winning president and executive producer of ASR Media Productions and host of The PEAK TV will compete in the 2nd Annual Dancing with the Lehigh Valley Stars at the State Theatre on April 21st. Proceeds from the night will benefit the State Theatre's FREDDY©  Awards program.

This production was created five years ago by the Utah Ballroom Dance Company, a professional dance troupe featuring some of nation's top ballroom dance athletes who have performed nationally and internationally. Dancers from the Company will be in residence for a week prior to the show, teaching the local Stars their 90-second routines.  The inaugural winner of 2015 Dancing with the Lehigh Valley Stars was Eve Tannery from 69 News WFMZ.  2016 DWTLVS judges are the Honorable Sal Panto, Mayor of the City of Easton, Kara Curry, mid-day personality on 99.9 The Hawk, and Al Kratzer, of lehighvalleylive and The Express-Times.

Local stars will dress up in glitzy costumes and perform their routines before a LIVE audience. Part 2 of the evening's program features the professional dancers in action until the winner of the famous Mirror Ball is announced at the end of the show!  In addition to the Judges scores, audience members will help determine the winner with their vote on the night of the show.  The other Lehigh Valley celebrities competing are Anne Episcopo, Becca Lynn, Frank Facchiano, Scott Kalamar and Stephen Wilson. The local star's hair and makeup will be provided by Glamour Addict, located in Allentown.
