Roth Staffing's Marketing VP Staci Johnson Appointed Vice Chair of ASA Subcommittee

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - April 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Staci Johnson, VP of Marketing at Roth Staffing Companies, has been selected as Vice Chair of the Marketing Subcommittee for the American Staffing Association. The ASA Subcommittee supports the organization's mission and strategic initiative to promote the industry through effective programs of public communication.

The American Staffing Association is the national trade association representing the $130-billion U.S. staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry. The ASA is the voice of the industry. The organization promotes and protects the interest of the industry across all sectors through advocacy, research, education, and the promotion of high standards of legal, ethical, and professional practices.

Currently, the ASA depends on several subcommittees dedicated to various aspects of the staffing industry including: Social Responsibility, Education and Certification, Industry Information, Marketing, Leadership Awards, Membership, Nominating, Political Action, Public Relations, Safety, Workers' Compensation, and Promoting the Profession.

Each subcommittee advises ASA on how the association can promote a positive image of the staffing industry as a strategic workforce partner to U.S. businesses through industry marketing programs. It serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas among committee members in support of ASA industry marketing goals and regarding particular challenges facing the industry. The subcommittee is made up of a select group of executive level marketing leaders from staffing companies of all sizes who work together in support of the ASA mission and its strategic initiatives.

The Marketing Subcommittee meets quarterly and breaks into smaller working groups monthly to discuss strategies that will help the ASA better promote the industry as a whole and create deliverables that will help individual staffing firms be more successful in communicating to job seekers and business customers.

Staci will serve alongside the Subcommittee's Chair Andrea Edwards, VP of Marketing for Staffmark.

In 2015, she won the Gold Stevie Award, recognizing the work and success  her marketing team has accomplished within the staffing industry through campaigns, website creation, digital marketing, social media, live events, virtual events, public relations, newsletters, and branding.
