World of Money Moguls & Parents Welcomed by New York State Assembly

NEW YORK - April 14, 2016 - PRLog -- On March 31, President Barack Obama proclaimed April as National Financial Capability Month proclaimed, "When every American has the tools they need to get ahead and contribute to our country's success, we are all better off.  Since the recession, we have built our economy to be better and stronger than before, but we still have work to do to make hardworking families' paychecks go further.  Ensuring people have the resources to make informed decisions about their finances is critical in this effort, and during National Financial Capability Month, we recommit to equipping individuals with the knowledge and protections necessary to secure a stable financial future for themselves and their families."

Founded in 2005, the WorldofMoney.org is a New York City based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to empower youth with an immersive financial and technology education. While in Albany today, the WoM Moguls also toured the Capitol and met with Assemblymembers Blake, Fahey, Mosley, Robinson and Simanowitz.. House Speaker Carl Heastie also personally met with the group.
