Follow on Google News | Kent State University's College of Business Administration to Host IT Security Expert PanelBy: Kent State College of Business Administration "I'm delighted that we have this impressive panel of security experts coming to Kent State to share their experiences and insights regarding what has become a major issue for computer technology," This event is a panel discussion part of OHTec's Tech Week. The panel will consist of Bob Salandre, global information security and compliance at the Timken Company; Matt Hallock, sales engineering executive at Expedient; Om Kakani, assistant attorney in the United States Department of Justice; and Matt Neely, director of strategic initiatives at SecureState. A variety of IT security topics will be discussed by the panel members, including how to protect your identity online, the Apple vs. FBI case, the future of IT security and current trends in the IT industry. The event will be held in room 106 of the College of Business Administration building from 7-8 p.m. It is free and open to the public and pizza and soda will be provided.
