Monica Clark, PA-C Joins John Schmidt, MD

BELMAR, N.J. - April 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Dr. John Schmidt is pleased to announce that Monica R. Clark, M.S., PA-C has joined his practice. Clark, a certified physician assistant (PA), has more than 10 years of clinical practice experience. A PA is a nationally certified and state-licensed medical professional who practices medicine and prescribes medication on healthcare teams with physicians and other providers.

"Ms. Clark is passionate about preventive care and helping patients to achieve their healthcare goals," states Dr. Schmidt. "She shares my vision to provide comprehensive and individualized care to all of our patients."

Prior to joining the practice, Clark worked for an internist in Middletown, NJ, as well as an internal medicine practice in Fairfax, VA. Clark was a Parker Family Health Center volunteer from 2008-2013 where she first met Dr. Schmidt.

A resident of Middletown, NJ, Clark completed the Physician Assistant program and earned a Master of Science degree at George Washington University. She earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Biology from the College of The Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and then served six years as a Naval Officer. Monica is the mother of two sons.
