The Josie Music Awards Will Light Up Nashville Again This Fall!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - April 12, 2016 - PRLog -- The Josie Music Awards (a part of The Josie Network) will be held on September 18, 2016 at the world-renowned Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.  This 197,000 square foot and beautiful facility is known as one of the best concert halls in the United States. The Josie Music Awards will have this amazing facility for its event exclusively for this one magical night.

The Josie Music Awards was created by Josie Passantino and Tinamarie Passantino, owners of The Josie Network, to celebrate hard working independent artists with incredible talent.  When we asked Tinamarie about the creation of the Josie Music Awards this is what she said, "We created this night once a year to celebrate and thank all of the independent artists that work so hard to bring pleasure to our lives by creating great music and giving us great live shows to enjoy.  There needs to be attention drawn to these great talents and our network strives throughout the year to bring cutting-edge ideas forward to help independent artists gain additional exposure for all their hard work. We want to ensure artists attending our shows feel the great love of our music community, the sense of family, and how loved and appreciated they really are. Josie, owner and host of our network programs, is a young lady with such an excitement about life and what she does daily.  She has a good heart and genuinely loves what she does and the people that she meets.  That feeling of love, happiness, and excitement carries over to everyone around her, making this night incredibly special."  Josie made one social media post in the middle of last year's award show that summed up the day.  Josie's post read, "Professionally speaking, this is the best day of my life."

This year's event will award over 60 artists in a beautiful ceremony and will feature 30 performances.  We are also told there will be some fun surprises! Performance applications and online auditions will be conducted through the middle of May.  The open nomination suggestion period will close on April 30, 2016.  Limited general admission seating will open for this private ticketed event on April 16, 2016. Make sure to reserve your tickets quickly, last year's show sold out in two days!
