Unfortunately, we have found that many people are unaware of the correlation between the mouth and their overall health. They are not aware of how their dental health can help to prevent and even resolve health conditions ranging from heart problems to obesity or chronic fatigue. Dr. Gashinsky and a few handpicked renowned wellness experts will cover topics that revolve around how a healthy mouth will promote a healthy body, healthy nutrition, thermograph screening, successful weight loss methods and creating a lifestyle that will improve and even prevent health problems. Your Wellness Matters Day will address these issues as well as questions from guests with a series of short seminars. Speakers include Dr. Gashinsky, who is himself accredited by the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology and a recipient of the prestigious Eugene Rothchild Memorial Award. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Institute of Nutritional Dentistry, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) (http://iaomt.org/ He will be speaking about holistic approach to dentistry, including non-toxic dental procedures that promote health and wellbeing. Lisa Mack, CTT, CNC, WWC and Certified Thermographic Technician and CEO of Lisa's Thermography and Wellness in Short Hills, NJ, who will provide information about an alternative diagnostic tool to mammography. Also speaking will be Board Certified Holistic Health coach Tina Hong, on nutritional counseling, as well as Fredrick Hahn, author, instructor and founder of SlowBurn personal training studios in New York City and Montclair, New Jersey. Mr. Hahn will also be doing a book signing of his book The SlowBurn Fitness Revolution. The entertainment will be in the hands of The Two Bobs, known throughout New Jersey for their unique style of light jazz. Healthy food and snacks will round off this one-of-a-kind event.
