A Luxury Wine Centric Tour To Argentina-It's all Mendoza

"This is just before harvest in Mendoza so it is an ideal time to visit and meet with winemakers and winery owners," said Steven Lay of Image of Wine.  "We all want to see and feel the excitement as wineries prepare for a harvest in a part of the World that is making some very impressive wines."

At the foothills of the Andes Mountains are some very high quality producers with backgrounds in American, French and German winemaking.  The commitments-facilities, vineyards, production capabilities, and research-are impressive; Paul Hobbs from Napa is one of the winemakers putting down his stake in this growing industry in Argentina.

The hallmarks of the Argentina Wine Country Trip include time in Buenos Aires with wine tasting at the Buenos Aires Park Hyatt 5 Star luxury hotel, a dinner and Tango show. Then a transfer to Mendoza for private tastings, lunches, and dinners at 8 premium wineries.  Based upon schedules, all efforts are being made to not only meet with winemakers but the winery owners themselves.  The emphasis is to have a trip that: Educates, Entertains, and provides an international wine Experience.

In Mendoza, with a group size limited to a maximum of 18 people, the party will be staying at a Relais and Chateau partner hotel; Cavas Wine Lodge in the heart of the vineyards near Mendoza; a true 5 Star hotel.  From there some of the wineries to be visited include Bodegas Salentein, Andeluna, Bodegas Catena Zapata and Michelini Brothers/SuperUco, the finest biodynamic vineyards in Argentina.

Through April 2016 Image of Wine and Yampu Tours will be offering a $1,000 discount on the $9,975 per person rate.  The promotional trip price of $8,9750.00 does not include airfare to and from Argentina.  There are optional arrangements in place to extend the Mendoza portion of the trip to include Chilean winery visits should anyone want such an option or extend the stay in Argentina.
