SafeTacular! Safety Awareness Community Event - MAY 21, 2016

SAN DIEGO - April 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Lusti Motors, a member of the local business community for over 50 years, presents SafeTacular! This one-of-a-kind Community Safety Event on May 21st will feature Safety Vehicle displays from the Police, Fire, CHP and other first responders. Safety Product Demonstrations and exhibits from Pacific Safety Center, AAA and other local businesses will include contests, raffles, giveaways, and family friendly activities to enjoy, along with award winning BBQ and Ice Cream treats.

The idea for SafeTacular began in response to recent studies that indicate Child Safety Seats are frequently installed improperly[1]. "We are honored to host a Keep 'Em Safe Child Seat installation check-up location for Pacific Safety Center," said John Lusti, President of Lusti Motors. "Not only will many low-income families be provided free Child Safety seats and training, but any family can have their own Safety Seat inspected by a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) during the event."

The focus of SafeTacular is to raise awareness of important safety issues within the community, in a unique and fun format that benefits everyone that attends. Andre Lusti, Vice President, said, "We are always excited to share a car-themed event with our community, especially in this case where the information can help save lives. But that doesn't mean we can't also have a great time and enjoy some unique cars, good food and entertainment, while learning how to be safer in our cars and on the road."

Highlights of the event include Vintage First Responder vehicles and the new "Choose Your Ride" display, which illustrates the Don't Drink and Drive campaign in a stunningly realistic way. Live broadcast by Jump'n Jack Flash will keep the event in full swing throughout the day. Plus more surprise guests to be announced. Neighbors, friends and families are welcome!  Admission is FREE!

SafeTacular brings the latest Safety programs, products and services to the public, while connecting first responders, public agencies and groups with the community to help make San Diego a safer place!
