Follow on Google News | Oklahoma to become New Hollywood of Mid-AmericaStroud Arts has been showing up in Newspress, Radio Interviews & Magazine Articles discussing their future plans to build Industrial Sized Film Studios in Stroud Oklahoma to compete with Hollywood.
By: Stroud Arts Radio Shows, newspress and magazines from Oklahoma to New York City have been airing interviews with these Local Oklahoma Celebrities as they reach out to share their Projects with America. Stroud Arts has recently taken on the Production of the Feature Film "The Eternal: Guardian of Light" found on IMDb.com which is being shot at several locations across the USA and also in Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian Government to be featured in Theaters across Egypt and distributed across many other Mid-East Countries. This will be the first American Feature Film shot in Egypt since 1976 when "A Time to Kill" with Roger Moore was filmed there. The same family that was the Executive Producers for "A Time to Kill" is also the same family producing "The Eternal: Guardian of Light" scenes in Egypt. As we follow Author/Director Guy Lozier we find several projects currently being produced by his Compay Higher Destiny Productions. "The Eternal" film being one of them along with "The Indie Matrix" due out the first of next year and a show in Oklahoma City where Guy is the Director, "Star Ship Ajax" being produced at Star Base Studios. In recent times George Takei showed up at the Oklahoma Civic Center in their Captains Chair from their set to do a photo shoot with J.C. England, the star of that show. Not to mention numerous other music videos from several bands around the world. We also found a number of novels Guy has authored or is currently working on. The Movie "The Eternal: Guardian of Light" is actually based on his very first novel which can be found on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and many other internet based outlets. We also found two of his novels at Hastings Book Stores in Enid, Stillwater and Norman. Also his novels are found in several Libraries around the state including High School Libraries. That book is only the first book in a series called "The Mind Rift Saga" which consists of three novels currently. His novel titles in that series are "The Morantian" and "The Darklanders" We also found Guy teaching workshops in Film as a volunteer for young aspiring students from the Stroud area and another in Cushing Oklahoma. Their workshop has attracted actors from all over the state recently as they teach every facet of Film Making and they do it free of cost to students as it is sponsored by Stroud Arts which is a non-profit organization. When we checked up on David Timmons we found him involved in many projects from local projects in Theatre to Directing Feature Film shoots and listed as a Director for "Star Ship Ajax" along with Guy Lozier. As we looked to Eric Xton, lead Singer for God in a Machine and owner of Sub-Machine Productions we found Eric also involved in Director roles in many of the same projects and much more, including working with the Famous Jenna Green from the TV Show Face-Off as they demoed in special effects makeup at a Film Festival along with the special effects Master Nate Bright who frequents Hollywood sets working in special effects. Eric performs regularly in Oklahoma with his band, not to mention other states. We found on their schedules upcoming events such as Tulsa Comic Con and the Oklahoma State Capital event coming up in the next few months. We also found several other Celebrities from Oklahoma who were also Spokespersons and Volunteers for the Stroud Arts. One was Davena Sullivan, a local Actress from the Oklahoma City area who also has recently finished her Doctorate in Education as she finishes her Disortation. Charles Walker, a local actor/stunt man and previous local Celebrity from Oklahoma Radio Stations for over 20 years. We also found an Oklahoma Storm Chaser Justin Marre also known for his skills as a Director of Photography in Film and well spoken of for his talents. Keep your eyes and ears open as Oklahoma is being turned into the new Hollywood of Mid-America in the upcoming years. We encourage all organizations and individuals across Oklahoma to reach out to them to support their efforts as their work will turn Oklahoma around in the future economically and give us a facelift of glamour that everyone loves to watch in film. https://www.facebook.com/ End
