Full Description Gotta Go! is a 3D isometric simulation of a universally relatable situation: Being in an unfamiliar place with an urgent need to go to the bathroom. Pressure mounting, clock ticking, and no clue where the bathroom might be... players must make their way across the office avoiding co-workers' inane chattering, HR's ever-watching gaze and the bosses' wrath to find their porcelain sanctuary. Set amongst the cubicles of a 90's tech company, Gotta Go! combines arcade-style gameplay with lighthearted humor to create a fun pick-up-and- Inception of the Game Late one warm September evening, after having spent the day at PAX Prime Cory and Nick ran out to get some dinner at a nearby taco-stop renowned for its flavor and for the intestinal strain it often caused its patrons. While waiting for their food and discussing the recent departure of one of their fellow Dire Nerds, the studio's business lead, Nick, remarked about how ordering this food would affect him the next day. Plagued with IBS since childhood, he was very likely to face an urgent call-of-nature at some point during his work shift and be forced to make his way across the store avoiding co-workers and customers as he tried to make his way, inconspicuously, to the nearest bathroom. Cory, the company's lead game designer, let out a chuckle and remarked "Well there's our game". The rest is history. The team spent the rest of the night scribbling on the whiteboard; drafting ideas, marketing materials, AI systems, levels, mechanics, and all of the little goodies that would eventually make Gotta Go! into an arcade-y blast! Features Players make use of sprinting, farting and turning in TPS reports to get themselves across the office in the least conspicuous manner possible. A living office! Every NPC has their own motivations and goals within the office. 100% original art by artist Mike Denlinger featuring iconographic characters in a tilt-shifted 3D isometric office filled with dynamically assembled desks, rooms, and textures. Full controller support for PC, Steam Box, and Steam Link. Original concept, writing and art creates a feel of lighthearted and campy humor in the style of Office Space, Dilbert and other such office-themed comedies. Pick-up-and- Summary Dire Nerd Studios, LLC. announced its debut indie game title, Gotta Go!, which is scheduled for release in fall of 2016. Visit direnerdstudios.com for more information!
