KISSIMMEE, Fla. - April 4, 2016 - PRLog -- APEX Security Inc., a Central Florida security guard company, has announced that their services will now extend to the Davenport, Clermont, and Leesburg section of the Route 27 corridor. The expansion comes during a time of company growth, as well as apparent growth in the region.

"We are growing with our community," said Jill Murphy, President of APEX Security Inc. "We live here, we work here, and we play here too." Murphy and her business partner, Margaret Toscano, founded APEX Security Inc. in 2002. Since 2002, APEX has grown from six employees to over one-hundred employees, serving all of Central Florida.

During the past 14 years, Murphy and Toscano have watched security firms come and go. In an industry with tremendous turnover, APEX Security Inc. has stood strong, retaining many of their clients and employees for over 10 years. APEX even flourished during the recession in the late 2000's, when many small businesses struggled to stay afloat.

As APEX expands into the Davenport-Clermont-Leesburg section of the Route 27 Corridor, they will continue to hire state licensed security officer personnel. APEX security management and supervisors are trained in crisis prevention intervention (CPI), a non-violent and non-invasive philosophy focused on care, welfare, safety, and security.

Murphy and Toscano started APEX with a combined 40 years of industry experience. APEX Security Inc. is a WBE certified woman owned minority business enterprise, as well as a member of esteemed security associations such as ASIS International (https://www.asisonline.org/) and FASCO(http://www.fascofl.org/).

APEX Security Inc specializes in gated community, construction site, and resort community security. The security company also staffs mobile patrol security guards, gate attendants, courtesy officers, desk attendants, and pool/common area monitors.

Members of the APEX team made the news late in 2015 when APEX Officer Joe Corica responded to three children pulling a loaded gun out of Waterford Lakes while fishing. Corica promptly separated the gun from the kids, and called the police.
