7th Annual Wesley Glen/Wesley Ridge Charity Golf Classic Tees Off August 15

COLUMBUS, Ohio - April 3, 2016 - PRLog -- Methodist ElderCare Services (MES) will host its 7th Annual Wesley Glen - Wesley Ridge Charity Golf Classic on Monday, August 15, 2016 at its new location, New Albany Country Club, 1 Club Lane, New Albany, OH 43054.

Proceeds from the event benefit Wesley Woods at New Albany. PGA Senior Tour player Rod Spittle will again be in attendance. Last year players were able to purchase a golf ball and have Mr. Spittle hit for their shot. This year players will be able to take advantage of a 30-minute golf clinic with Mr. Spittle at 8:30 am.

"We are very grateful for the support of our sponsors, players, volunteers, the community and Wesley Glen - Wesley Ridge residents and staff who have helped make this event not only possible, but very successful," said Dinah Cason, Executive Director of Development. "The 2015 Charity Golf Classic netted more than $121,000 for Hospice Services at Methodist ElderCare and Wesley At Home. We hope to do ever better than that in 2016."

The event begins with player registration at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The event is not limited to golfers. Following the tournament, guests and players will have a chance to mix and mingle as the event concludes with awards, dinner and live and silent auctions.

All players receive:

* 18 holes of golf and player gifts

* One golf ball for helicopter ball drop

* Breakfast

* Lunch and beverages all day

* Dinner and auction
