Kelley Blue Book Names Honda 2016 "Best Value Brand"The value experts at Kelley Blue Book just gave out their 2016 Brand Image Awards, and Honda walked away with "Best Value Brand"... for the fifth time.
This is the fifth year Honda has won the award, with previous victories in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015. Honda is clearly no stranger to Kelley Blue Book's awards, and neither are Honda's vehicles. The 2016 Honda Civic Sedan just took home the Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Award for the small car class as well as the Best Overall Buy spanning all vehicle classes. As the executive market analyst and executive editorial director, KBB.com's Jack R. Nerad explained what has helped Honda become so successful in recent years, saying, "Our Kelley Blue Book expert vehicle reviewers consistently praise Hondas for their overall excellence and strong value story, so it is not surprising that car shoppers feel the same way, naming Honda as Kelley Blue Book's Best Value Brand again this year." In order to calculate the popularity of a vehicle, Kelley Blue Book looks at their "Strategic Insights Brand Watch" study, formerly referred to as the Market Intelligence Brand Watch Study. In it, more than 12,000 different vehicle shoppers' opinions are assembled for analysis to generate an incredible comprehensive study on what factors new car buyers believe are important, helping to identify brand loyalty and familiarity among new car buyers.
