The Blyth Institute is hosting this free preview session in order to raise publicity for the April 16th Alternatives to Methodological Naturalism online conference, which will bring together scholars from around the world to discuss ways to expand academic methodologies beyond Methodological Naturalism. The conference is highly interdisciplinary, with talks on subjects including philosophy of science, economics, linguistics, psychology, biology, and computer learning. To watch the preview session, just go to the website on the morning of April 4th and it will contain instructions to join the session. Since the conference and the preview are online, anyone from around the world can join. For attendees on slow Internet connections, the conference also offers international call-in numbers. Dr. Rakover will be presenting from the University of Haifa. He is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of Haifa, and has been actively involved in research involving the psychology of facial recognition, consciousness studies, and the philosophy of psychology.
