LEESBURG, Fla. - March 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Kissimmee, Florida-based Stallion 51 is celebrating the 29th anniversary since it acquired the quintessential WWII fighter, the P-51 Mustang. Originally built in 1944, the dual-cockpit/ dual controlled "Crazy Horse" made Stallion 51 and Kissimmee Gateway airport its home in April of 1987.

Stallion 51 will share its pride and joy as part of a chance to win a hands-on experience flying the iconic warbird, all to benefit Mercy Flight Southeast

The Raffle prize includes a half-day P-51 orientation experience at Stallion 51's headquarters. After a pre-flight briefing, the winner will enjoy a hands-on flight that encourages the individual to do 95% of the flying. The winner will complete his or her experience with a photo and video from the flight as well as plenty of memories to share. The prize includes round trip airfare up to $500 to Orlando.

"Stallion 51 has long been a supporter of Mercy Flight Southeast which provides free air transportation to far-from-home medical appointments for people who otherwise could not get there," said Angela West, General Manager of Stallion 51. "The charity and their network of volunteer pilots are ever-reliable, just like the P-51 Mustang. We are thrilled to offer this once-in-a-lifetime experience to benefit this worthy cause."

Mercy Flight Southeast's network of 650 volunteer pilots donate their airplanes, fuel and flight hours to complete approximately 3,000 flights each year; however, the non-profit organization is reliant on donations and fundraising to pay for support services and to keep passengers and pilots in the air.

Individual raffle tickets are $20 each, six for $100 or 13 for $200. The winner will be announced on April 10, 2016 during the annual Sun N Fun International Fly-in and Expo.  Raffle tickets are available or purchase online at http://www.MercyFlightSE.org/events (http://www.angelflightse.org/events) or by calling (352) 326-0761.
