By: Fullerton Arboretum The Orange County Agricultural & Nikkei Heritage Museum at Fullerton Arboretum is proud to present the Arboretum in Bloom exhibition. This beautiful exhibition is a collaboration between the Fullerton Arboretum and Professor Lawrence Yun of Visual Arts Department, California State University of Fullerton. The featured landscape and botanical paintings are traditional transparent watercolor depictions of Arboretum scenery during late February and early March. They represent current art projects created by CSUF Art major students from Professor Yun's 310A/B Watercolor class. Each semester Professor Yun brings his watercolor class to the garden to draw inspiration from the plant collection and the beautiful scenes found at the Fullerton Arboretum. The urban oasis provides an opportunity for the students to experience nature and to study its complex beauty. As you view the exhibition we hope you will enjoy seeing the Arboretum and its amazing collection of plant species and landscapes through the eyes of these talented students The exhibition will be open on Saturdays and Sundays (12-4pm) from April 16th through May 22nd, 2016. Entrance is free but a donation of $5 per person is requested. For inquiries, please contact the Arboretum at 657-278-4010 or www.fullertonarboretum.org End
