Fortune Brands Website Created By Laughlin Constable Earns Recognition

 
CHICAGO - March 28, 2016 - PRLog -- A website created by Laughlin Constable is receiving worldwide recognition. The website for Fortune Brands, launched last December, is one of 10 sites worldwide being showcased for its design and functionality by Kentico, an all-in-one marketing software package that helps businesses create integrated websites, online stores, online communities and intranets. Kentico's software is the digital backbone for the online presence of small businesses to Fortune 500 companies in 80 countries.

Fortune Brands needed a site that would better speak to its key target audiences across all of its brands. The company's old site was outdated and limited in its ability to communicate the brand and offerings, necessitating an entirely new site messaging strategy, architecture, and design created to meet these needs. Fortune Brands also needed a site that the company could easily update as its portfolio of brands grows and changes.

A unique component to this project was the integration with NASDAQ for running the Investor Center. Templates using the portal engine style of programming gave Fortune Brands the ability to create and manage the content efficiently. Laughlin Constable set up the website to take advantage of Kentico's content staging feature to allow changes to be synced across multiple environments effortlessly. Development of the site took about six weeks. The site is now able to communicate with target audiences in a way that was not possible before, with a more organized and updated display. Fortune Brands can now elevate the messages that are of most importance, and visitors can now find what they are looking for with fewer steps in the process.
