Startup BoomerangCast has launched its mobile voting and polling app, a community-based fundraising tool designed to help schools and sports organizations generate revenue through community interaction and advertising.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - March 24, 2016 - PRLog -- BoomerangCast, a startup headquartered in Walnut Creek, CA, has launched its mobile voting and polling app, a community-based fundraising tool designed to help schools and sports organizations generate revenue though user interaction and sponsor advertising.

BoomerangCast comes online at a time when sponsor dollars are at a competitive premium for academic programs, clubs, activities, events, and team sports. The free app is a fundraising solution that helps schools and sports teams raise money through community building by leveraging social media and allowing everyone with a smart phone to participate-with no out-of-pocket costs.

"Our solution comprises a web-based portal for schools (partners) and a free mobile app for their audiences," says Arjun Rai, founder and CEO of BoomerangCast. "Partners use the portal to manage both content and schedules for their polls, and to sell sponsorship and advertising space on their voting screens."

By design, audiences see polls at the time and place partners deem. Polls can be offered within a gymnasium or ball field, across a city, or nationwide to coincide with academic and sporting events. For example, students can cast votes for MVP at a school event, or most innovative science project within a school district, or a favorite new branding slogan for the National PTA. "Organizers can get feedback and poll results immediately-decision-making information that traditionally takes days or weeks to obtain through traditional paper or online surveys," says Rai.

More than voting at school and school events, BoomerangCast is about building a sustainable community-focused fundraising program that leverages the latest technology and social media without requiring any out-of-pocket costs for schools. Rai and his corporate partner, TJ Basra, envision a community in which businesses sponsor school events and, in turn, event attendees channel their dollars towards the sponsoring businesses. "What could be easier than having the sponsoring businesses deposit coupons or deals on your phone?" asks Rai.

The BoomerangCast mobile app is available for free through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Developed by BoomerangCast, LLC, BoomerangCast is available in English.
