LBI Region Comes to Life With 2016 Escape Guide

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - March 24, 2016 - PRLog -- The yearly Long Beach Island Region Escape Guide is now available at the Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce, W 9^th St. in Ship Bottom, NJ, as well as online - part of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce's campaign, Beach Culture Redefined (#beachcultureredefined.)

Beach Culture Redefined is a movement to highlight the best of Southern Ocean County to show the cultural value of the area in addition to the natural wonder. The campaign is being used across several mediums to bring a more progressive and cohesive esthetic to the Chamber's marketing.

The Escape Guide is a 46-page color publication with a circulation of 25,000 copies distributed to vacation rentals, state visitor centers, events, and mailed by request throughout the year. It features listings of parks, trails, and surfing beaches, sections promoting art, nature, dining, Chowderfest, history, attractions, recreation, shopping and lodging. The guide is not just an important tool to those planning their days and nights once they have arrived on LBI, but imperative for bringing new families to the region.

The 2016 edition uses the work of local photographers and artists to capture the spirit of the region at its very best. The artwork of Mary Tantillo of Swell Colors Gallery, as well as the inspiring photography of locals Ryan Johnson, Eric Hance, and Ann Coen showing how local artists perspectives can be best used to market the region.
