The Beehive Opens for Easter Sunday Featuring Brunch, Dinner, Live Music, an Easter Egg Hunt and a Visit from the Easter Bunny!

BOSTON - March 22, 2016 - PRLog -- On Sunday, March 27th, 2016 The Beehive is celebrating Easter Sunday with a two-course prix fixe brunch, an à la carte dinner, live jazz performances all day long, and special Easter egg hunt made complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny!

From 9:30AM to 3:30PM, guests can indulge in a two-course, prix fixe brunch beginning with items such as Greek Easter lamb & lemon soup or a smoked salmon plate with marinated cucumbers, capers, dill & crostini before indulging in the main event with choices that include eggs benedict with country spiral ham, short rib or crab cake and Easter classics such roast leg of lamb with pesto, spring peas, whipped potatoes & rosemary jus, and quiche with spinach, roasted tomato, fine herbs & feta. The two course meal is $48 per person and includes choice of coffee or tea and a basket of baked goodies for the table (tax and gratuity not included). For kids ten and under, The Beehive has a "Little Bee's Kids Menu" with options such as Scrambled Eggs & Toast, Chicken Dinos & Frites and Kiddie Belgium Waffle ($18) before they scurry off to partake in the annual Easter egg hunt and take a photo with the Easter Bunny. Throughout the afternoon guest's brunch will be kick off with Jeff Galindo's expressive and dynamic trombone jazz trio from 10:00AM to 1:00PM followed by the Jamie Stewardson Trio's modern classics from 1:30PM to 4:30PM.

All day long guests can get in the spirit with signature cocktails such as the Bacon Infused Vodka Bloody Mary ($11.50), Spring White Sangria ($8) the Blue Cottontail ($12.50) and Carrot Margarita with Milagro silver tequila, carrot, citrus and black salt-chili-lime rim ($12.50). Guests can also indulge in signature champagne cocktails such as the Kir Framboise with Chambore, ($13).

For the later crowd, The Beehive is serving Easter Dinner from 5:00PM-10:00PM with an à la carte menu, including grilled chickory salad with trumpet mushrooms, dried cherries, ricotta, pecans and citrus ($12), slow braised pork sugo with handmade pappardelle, kale, olives and parmesan ($25), and Nantucket flounder with toasted couscous, spinach and sauce verte ($26).

All evening long guests can jam out to live jazz performances beginning at 5:00PM with Fabio Giacalone's evocative jazz vocals. From 8:00PM to 12:00AM, The Beehive's "Sunday Night Blues Series" will round off the night with an all-star house blues band led by 25-year musical veteran keyboardist and producer, Bruce Bears.
