By: Axalta Powder Coatings "We were excited to bring information about our Nap-Gard fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) expansions and updates to attendees at NACE Corrosion 2016," said Meghan Hodge, Global Product Marketing Manager, Functional Coatings. "This show gave us the ability to interact with our customers and show them how our commitment to meet their needs has driven us to pursue ever better processes for an effective and efficient line of oil and gas pipeline corrosion products." Axalta experts described how recent enhancements at the company's Houston, Texas facility streamlined manufacturing processes to more efficiently support customer needs. Booth displays included the new Nap-Gard 7-2500 series, which organizes Axalta's well-established FBE powder coatings into one product grouping and more clearly explains the benefits of its range of thermosetting epoxy powder products for both onshore and offshore oil and gas pipelines. Attendees also learned about the Nap-Gard 7-2514 EN series' color expansion. Now available in green, this new color option increases Nap-Gard's product offerings even further. Nap-Gard FBE powder coatings have provided innovative anti-corrosion protection for more than 50 years. These coatings provide ideal corrosion protection on rebar, used to strengthen concrete in the construction of highways and bridges, and are a viable choice for valve coatings used in many different environments ranging from drinking water to more demanding wastewater and saltwater. NACE Corrosion is the world's largest corrosion conference and expo. The 2016 show brought more than 7,000 corrosion professionals and 450 exhibiting companies to the Vancouver area for an educational experience focused on the prevention and mitigation of corrosion worldwide. In addition to educational opportunities, Corrosion 2016 was a chance to expand professional networks and receive technical support. End
