March 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Robert Fox from The JZ Expedited Companies heads to Havana, Cuba today as part of a select group of representatives from the TIA.

The agenda will include meetings with manufactures and logistics companies to discuss future partnerships and opportunities.

One anticipated event is a meeting with a Cuban tobacco facility which could be a key area of growth for JZ in the future.

One of the subsidiaries of the JZ Expedited Companies is Florida Tobacco Traders. FTT holds a Federal License to import finished tobacco products (cigars).

This company is under the jurisdiction of TTB which is the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau which falls under the U.S. Treasury Department.

JZ also holds a distinct market advantage when the U.S. Trade Embargo is lifted by way of its subsidiary North Florida Warehouse FTZ.  NFW FTZ is an active Foreign Trade Zone Operator as well as being a U.S. Customs Bonded warehouse.

Finally the last piece of the Global Supply Chain is completed by JZ Expedited Trucking who also is Customs Bonded.

President Obama is in Cuba at the same time as Fox and TIA is there.
