SEATTLE - March 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Just in time for the 53rd anniversary of the historic building, Author Carole Marsh has once again produced a relevant and engaging mystery book for children, The Mystery at the Space Needle. This story joins the wonderfully engaging Real Kids Real Places series, which follow real kids' adventures through historical landmarks, noted attractions, and the very best monuments that America has to offer.

In Mystery at the Space Needle, Christina, Grant, Mimi, and Papa head for Seattle's famous Space Needle, and end up in a winning a highly sought after mystery box. The problem arises when two unsavory characters are after the same box and end up trailing the family all around Seattle. The setting is the primary attraction in this story and Carole Marsh has effortlessly weaved rich descriptions into a tale that takes the characters through Pike's Place Market and the Waterfront Ferris Wheel too.

When asked why she chose to set a story at the Space Needle, the author said, "When my husband and I traveled around the United States for three years doing research, photography and writing, our visit to Seattle was one of my fondest memories.  The Space Needle was so remarkable to me; it was so much fun, and the views so fantastic.  I felt like I was in a James Bond movie, and just knew this locale and history would make an intriguing mystery for kids!"

The Mystery at the Space Needle is available for pre-order today at http://www.gallopade.com and will officially hit bookshelves in April of 2016.
