Pillar College Expands In Paterson, NJ!

The Impact Paterson site will first host the College's Bi-Lingual Entry Degree Program (Programa BLEND) . These courses are taught in Spanish while immersing the student in English.
At the Site Launch, the College was honored by the Mayor's office and received the "Mayor's Award" for outstanding civic contribution. The award was presented by Rueben Gomez, Director of Economic Development for Paterson. Dr. Steven Rose, President of Passaic County Community College in his remarks underscored the good relationship that PCCC has had with Pillar College. Others in attendance who spoke at the event were: Rev. Michael McDuffie of the IAAM Initiative, Dominic DiGioacchino, Associate Vice President of Admissions for Pillar College, Rev. Randall Lassiter, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Dan Wright, Provost of Pillar College, and Councilman Alex Mendez. Dr. David E. Schroeder, President of Pillar College, introduced staff, the site ambassador and the Pillar College urban initiative.
According to Provost Wright "The warm and positive reception we have received from many members of the Paterson community has been outstanding. It is obvious that community leaders care deeply about the people and future of Paterson, and we are honored to have an opportunity to support their efforts by educating, inspiring, and equipping a new generation of transformational leaders."
