Investigating the Dark Web workshop - 24 May 2016
AYLESBURY, U.K. - March 18, 2016 - PRLog -- The Investigator is hosting this 'not to be missed' one day workshop that explores the extent and nature of criminality on the Dark Web.

Shrouded in mystery, the Dark Web poses a real problem for investigators as it cannot be accessed freely like the conventional web without the use of specialised encryption software.

Cyber criminals are flocking to the Dark Web to take part in illegal online activity as they can ply their trade with relative anonymity and evade justice.

Our workshop aims to shine a light on the Dark Web for first time and we are pleased to feature expert speakers who will present exclusive research about:
• The extent of criminality on the Dark Web
• A breakdown of the crimes being committed on the Dark Web

We'll also be exploring:
• Definitions of Dark Web, Dark Net and Deep Web
• Challenges that exist to investigating on the dark web and how to address these challenges
• Investigative opportunities that exist to apprehend criminals who are operating on the Dark Web
• Best practice around how to investigate crimes on the Dark Web and the investigative opportunities that exist
• Legislation around investigating the Dark Web

PLUS: A series of live demonstrations that will reveal actual Dark Web sites.
