NEW YORK - March 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Abdullah Bin Juttiewrote The Buffalo Soldiers to honor the Negro Cavalry unit that served the U.S. military in the years following the Civil War. This historical novel is especially important for young readers.

The author felt a responsibility to tell the story of the Buffalo Soldiers, who represent a positive image of the African American men who dedicated themselves to restoring the Union. The book's goal is to reestablish the dignity of the African American, whose battlefield prowess has been demonstrated throughout the history of the United States military.

The book follows a black man from Nashville, Tennessee, who wanted to avenge the massacre of 300 African American men, women, and children by white Southern troops under the command of Nathan Bedford Forrest (the future leader of the Ku Klux Klan) at the battle of Fort Pillow in 1864.

After serving in the Civil War, the soldier joined the Buffalo Soldiers. Yet even after serving in the military, he faced the same racism that came before risking his life for his country. Years later, the man watches his best friend die in a fire fight with members of the KKK, who attempted to over run and kill all the members of his community. The tragedy was similar to the horrific event that resulted in the decimation of an entire African American community in 1921 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, referred to as "Black Wall Street," during this shameful period of American history.

About the Author: Abdullah Bin Juttie was born in Detroit, graduated from the University of Michigan in Near Eastern Studies, and received his master's in linguistics from Northcentral University. He is the son of Olympic gold medalist track star Lorenzo Wright. When he discovered that his African ancestor who came to America was a freed West African merchant marine named Juttie, the author changed his name to honor his family's ancestral name. His prowess in Arabic enabled him to receive a scholarship to attend the American University of Cairo in Egypt. He is currently a contract ESL teacher and a music producer, mentored by Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and Bob Marley. The movie "Glory" inspired him to write this story.

"The author's books are not only fascinating, but tell vital stories about two important times in American history. We are proud to be the publisher," said Robert Fletcher, CEO of Strategic Book Publishing and Rights Agency.

Juttie's previous book, The Last Crusades, chronicles the events leading up to September 11, 2001.

Nothing happens in a vacuum. The dysfunctional relations between the West and Islam that preceded 9/11 include how Palestine was overtaken by Zionists with the help of the British, leading to the formation of the Jewish state of Israel.

Incidents occurring in the Middle East have sown the seeds to many conflicts in the world, including the attack of 9/11.

The historical book illustrates how Zionists ran the Palestinians out of Palestine and established the state of Israel with the help of Europe and the U.S.

The book describes the author's return to the Middle East after becoming a professional ESL teacher and working in Saudi Arabia for 12 years. He watched the horrors of 9/11 and was propelled from that experience to write this book against the backdrop of 9/11, the subsequent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and how these conflicts have expanded confrontation between the West, Israel, Palestine, and the entire Islamic world. His insight offers an insider's look at the politics of the region.

Will it be possible to avoid the threat of a third world war, one that would originate in the Middle East?
