What are the reviewers saying:

Smarter Backer

"I had fun playing this. You will have fun playing this game! Especially if you like Puerto Rico and King of Tokyo . . . Also if you like Robots, this is a really, really cool game!!"

"There is a lot of balancing that has gone into this. Lord Reforge plays differently than Professor Syphon or my personal favorite - The Executioner"

Game Centric TV

"What I really like about this game is that the turn dynamics are very unique and very interesting to see. This is something that I have not seen in many other games and certainly not laid out in such a manner but it creates a lot of interesting interactions and a lot of very interesting dynamics. I'm reminded of this double edged sword mechanic that kind of comes into play I might be able to mine for something but my opponents get to mine too and might get more resources."

PlayThruBoardGames

"Honestly, I don't have anything quite like Robots in my collection; I don't generally go for head-to-head destructive romps like this, but the fact that there were multiple paths to victory (building your robot completely vs. reducing all competitors to zero health), and no permanent player elimination really set it apart over other head-to-head games I've played. The theme is something I feel almost anyone could get on board with, and the mechanics-while complex enough to offer real choices-are not something that would likely cause analysis paralysis. Conceptually, spending resources to build an attack robot and then attacking is easy to grasp, and the mechanics of gathering and spending resources felt intuitive. Bottom line: If you're looking for a medium weight game with a nice "take that" feel, then this is worth a look!"

The Aficionado

"Fight does a good job of introducing interaction into what could be called a Eurogame."

"The ideas regarding the Robots had clearly been well conceptualized and realized throughout design. Constructing your big turn and unleashing pain upon all other players, or suddenly building a large portion of your Robot in a single turn is incredibly satisfying."
