UMI Christian Writers Conference Sets the Stage to Hire Writers

CHICAGO - March 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Urban Ministries, Inc. (UMI), the nation's largest independent, African-American owned and operated Christian media company, is hosting an array of renowned publishing experts at the UMI Christian Writers Conference, a two-day conference, scheduled on Friday, April 22^nd, 2016 to Saturday, April 23^rd, 2016.  The theme of the conference is Follow The Call. Find Your Voice. Fulfill Your Purpose. Among such noted writers as best-selling author and Emmy Award-winning television personality Michelle McKinney Hammond are LaVerne Tolbert, Ph.D. Vice President of Editorial for UMI, and Clarence Waldron, distinguished Journalist, Writer and Editor formerly of Jet Magazine. The conference will give new and seasoned Christian writers an opportunity to advance the word of God by being mentored, empowered, and possibly employed by UMI.
