Qatar to Host Biggest Smart City Event Next Month
H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport & Communications and H. E. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, Minister of Municipality and Environment will inaugurate the summit and deliver an opening address, followed by a dynamic line up of regional and international speakers.
Emphasizing on the use of technology, Graeme Bolton, of Townsville City Council will deliver a case study presentation on Townsville and the smart city initiatives undertaken so far. Adding to this topic will be Frans-Anton Vermast, of Amsterdam Smart City shedding light on the concept of Living Labs. Additionally, this year's edition of the summit will host more than 20 sessions, including two keynote presentations and three interactive panel discussions.
