METAvivor Hires Sonya Negley as Executive Director

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - March 15, 2016 - PRLog -- METAvivor Research and Support Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research for Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, announced that it has hired Sonya Negley as its first ever Executive Director. Partnering with our Board of Directors and an extensive network of volunteers, Ms. Negley will be focused on steering METAvivor through the next phase of its growth and development.

Ms. Negley has over 20 years of experience in non-profit management, including program development, strategic planning, operations management and fundraising.  Prior to joining METAvivor, Ms. Negley worked for several non-profit organizations, including the Montgomery Alabama Chamber of Commerce, the Oklahoma Alliance of Business and Industry, and Florida's Great Northwest.  She also established her own consulting firm, g.r.e.e.n. Consulting and Solutions, where she worked with a variety of non-profit organizations on fundraising, organizational development, financial policies, and program development. Ms. Negley will oversee daily operations at METAvivor, including working with donors and corporate sponsors, supporting our research grant program and establishing operational processes.
