At 9:00 p.m. Commatteo will showcase three of her collections, "Shreds," "Escape" and "Transition," "Shreds," the first award-winning collection being shown, is from her design process where she "shredded fabric, turned seams inside out, used black for the dark times and orange for the light at the end of the tunnel." Shares Commatteo about her follow up collections, "the 'Escape' collection marries the elements of light bamboo and silk to create a unity of fresh pieces for the spring. These designs incorporate the season's colors and layering effects of partially hidden panels forming a stunning silhouette for the modern, new age customer. My 'Transition' collection is inspired by the film Mad Max: Fury Road, sending out a strong and powerful message with an edge of sensuality." As the fashion trends and transitions continue to develop, Commatteo is also working feverishly behind-the-scenes, soon to unveil a brand new fashion line championing a social cause that she will reveal this June. This undercover fashion line is a new collaboration with Best-Selling Author, Lawyer, Speaker and World Class Athlete, Steve Jennings, the leader of the Invincible Life Warrior Revolution and author of the just-released book, "The Way of the Invincible Warrior." As Jennings enthusiastically states, "The 'Invincible Warrior' fashion line collaboration with Antonella is much more than special; I believe it is divinely inspired to serve a unique niche - to bridge the gap and to fill a great need that it is directed upon one's personal buying experience and the everyday needs of an underserved niche market." Also part of the team is Mark TenEyck, co-founder of American Innovators, a nonprofit co-working and maker space where Commatteo's new line will be developed and produced. He describes his excitement: "We are incredibly excited to have a well-known designer creating and manufacturing a line of clothing in one of our facilities. Traditional maker spaces are well known for the typical entrepreneur wanting access to 3D printers, wood or metal forming equipment. However, in addition, American Innovators has space dedicated to designers with mannequins, cut tables and photo shoot areas to provide the proper incubator for the Los Angeles market," explains TenEyck. Commatteo will also be utilizing state-of-the- Commatteo hopes the new line, whose details remain a secret until the June debut at the Los Angeles Earth Walk Unity Event in front of an audience of over 33,000, will create a greater awareness of the issues associated with the problem she is addressing through her fashion pieces.
