Washington, DC - Heroes Media Group, LLC.

Exuberance, confetti and chaos reigned down at the Verizon Center's center court on Sat. Mar. 12, 2016 as the University of North Carolina won the Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball championship tournament over the University of Virginia by a score of 61 to 57.

This was the eighteenth ACC championship for the Tarheels but for the Heroes Media Group (HMG), it was the first time this veteran-owned and operated media group was credentialed to cover a major college conference basketball tournament.

"The NCAAs have been good to HMG.  They gave us a set of credentials to our first major sporting event two years ago at the Final Four in Dallas," said co-founder Adam Bird, an Operation Iraqi Freedom Army combat veteran. "This past week, we made more progress thanks to the true-ACC-patriots who valued our service and commitment by allowing two veterans from HMG to cover every game of the tournament in nation's capital."

Heroes Media Group continues to grow and cover college basketball sending two reporters to Orlando to cover the American Athletic Conference (AAC) men's basketball championships, which will complete on Sun., Mar. 13, 2016.  The HMG coverage will continue as reporters have been credentialed to cover the first rounds for the NCAA Men's basketball tournament in Providence and Raleigh as well as the Midwest regional round in Chicago.

"Brian Morrison and ACC really helped our media group this past week by allowing us to be part of this wonderful championship tournament," said co-founder and former Marine, Sam Cachola.  "We had two former Marines and two Army veterans cover this tournament for our media group in D.C. Additionally, we are super-pleased to be working in Orlando covering the AAC tournament there before we head into the 'big dance,' and yes, we will be at the Final Four in Houston!"

Heroes Media is currently covering 18 Major League Baseball teams, three National Football League teams, 11 National Hockey League teams, 34 major college athletic programs, two Arena Football Leagues teams, Mixed Martial Arts competition and NASCAR.

This Heroes Media Group has a great mission and is growing exponentially and quickly, said Bird. "We remain committed to supporting our military, veterans and their families with newsworthy broadcasts as well as great sports coverage for our troops in the foxhole or in garrison back at home base.  Visit us at www.heroesmediagroup.com."
