A new Reverse Lookup App for iOS Devices has been released

SAN FRANCISCO - March 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Orave Technologies has released its new mobile app, Reverse Lookup, for iOS devices.  This app aims to serve the users by helping them identify unknown callers based on a phone number.  This app has been downloaded over a thousand times within just a few days of its release, and this number has been escalating rapidly.

On the latest version of this app, users can lookup any cell phone, landline, or toll-free number and retrieve details associated with that phone number.  In most cases, the app is able to retrieve the name of the phone number owner; however, in some cases, when the number being searched is a private number, the Caller-ID Name is retrieved instead.

The initial response to Reverse Lookup app has been mostly positive.  Some users, however, seem concerned about their privacy, since this app reveals some personal information associated with their phone number.  To assist those concerned users, the company has stated that it will accept opt-out requests.  If any opt-out request is made, the specified phone number will be removed from the phone lookup directory.  To make such request, however, the user will have to go through a simple verification process to verify that they do actually own the phone number in question.  After the number has been removed from the directory, any information on that specific phone number will become inaccessible to other users.

Currently, the Reverse Lookup app is being offered for free download from the App Store. It will remain free at least until the end of April next month.  After this free offer period, the new users will most likely have to pay to download this app.
