McGrath noted, “When Dani & Robbie started planning their wedding, what they had in mind was a detail-oriented, homemade wedding. They were married in the backyard of a family friend’s home in Des Moines, IA and almost every aspect of their wedding was homemade, including the tiniest details. Even the cake was made by a family friend and the food wasn’t catered, it was all done by family and friends. There are only a handful of weddings held here each year, and those families all volunteer at each other’s weddings that take place at this beautiful location. It was truly an honor to be a part of and capture such a family-oriented wedding.”
