Follow on Google News | Absolute Logic names Lars Andersson to position of Business Development ManagerBy: Absolute Logic Andersson is the former owner of the Norwalk IT firm, Cloud 9 IT, which Absolute Logic acquired last month. Following the merger of the two companies, Absolute Logic CEO Al Alper has asked Andersson to join the firm as Business Development Manager. In his new role with Absolute Logic, Andersson will work with Alper to expand the growing firm’s client base throughout southwestern Connecticut and New York. Andersson, who has been in the industry for more than 30 years, began his career working in a data center and says the transition from working on PCs and accounting systems to IT was a logical and progressive evolution for him. The Sacred Heart University (Fairfield) graduate has worked in every aspect of the industry, from “boots on the ground” network design to support, implementation, procurement, sales and support. After working for several IT firms in the region for nearly twenty years, he decided to launch his own firm six years ago. In making the decision to sell his firm, Cloud 9 IT, and merge it with Absolute Logic, Andersson said, “I’m excited to take on this new role as Business Development Manager. It will give me the chance to move away from the day to day business and operational management and fill a business development role.” He added, “I look forward to working with Al to help build the vision of providing Enterprise grade IT to small business customers.” Al Alper, CEO of Absolute Logic, said, “We are very pleased to welcome Lars to the Absolute Logic family. He will be a great partner in helping us expand our brand and market. Lars has a great reputation and industry experience and we know he will be of great benefit to our company and clients.” About Absolute Logic Since 1991, Absolute Logic has been providing Fortune 500-style technical support and technology consulting to businesses of up to 250 employees. The firm’s original client base was comprised largely of independent insurance agencies, law firms and dental practices; today, these industries remain a key part of the company’s clientele but Absolute Logic has expanded its scope of services to represent more than 40 different industries. Services include managed IT services and consulting, cloud computing, virtualization, email and spam protection, backup and disaster recovery, VoIP solutions, network security, and more.
