NAJEE - Releases Second Single & New Tour Celebrating 30 YEARS!

NEW YORK - March 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Grammy Nominated and award-winning international jazz saxophonist and flautist, Najee, will release his second single, entitled “Signature” featuring singer/songwriter Frank McComb, on March 14, 2016, from his new #1 album “You, Me, and Forever”, third release on Shanachie Entertainment. “You, Me, and Forever”, is produced by Najee, and has reached #1 Most Added album on the Smooth Jazz charts and the lead single “Fly With The Wind” reached #1 Single on Billboard jazz charts. The album also features James Lloyd (from Pieces of a Dream), and pianist Robert Damper (Kenny G). Najee believes his new work culminates with who he is as an artist, through his experiences in music.

For the new single “Signature”, Najee’s collaboration with Frank McComb, is what he considers “long-overdue” as both artists have known each other for many years in the music industry. “Working with Frank McComb is like working with the likes of Stevie Wonder and George Duke all rolled into one.  Recording "Signature" was truly a highlight for me on "You, Me and Forever". Frank is a true genius and I am happy to see this song get the attention it deserves,” states Najee. In-correlation with the release of “Signature”, Najee will begin his 2016 tour starting on March 12^th at The Soiled Dove Underground in Denver, following dates: March 19^th at the Jazz In The Gardens Festival in Miami, April 1^st at the Berks Jazz Festival, and April 2^nd at the O' Hare Jazz Festival in Chicago (full schedule of this year’s tour: www.najeeofficial.com). 2016 also marks the 30^th year anniversary for Najee’s debut album “Najee’s Theme” released in August 1986, on Capitol/EMI. Celebrations surrounding this anniversary will take place summer 2016 and will be announced in June.
