LIM College has created a new articulation agreement, allowing El Centro students graduating with an AAS in Fashion Marketing to immediately transfer as juniors to continue their studies and complete a BBA in New York City.
Located quite literally in the center of the fashion industry in Manhattan, LIM College will provide El Centro graduates many unique educational opportunities through a combination of academics and industry-related activities, such as fashion-focused field trips, guest lectures from key industry professionals, and a series of challenging work-study and co-op projects with top companies in and around Manhattan. For example, LIM College students routinely volunteer at numerous NYC Fashion Week events and other related activities throughout the year, working with some of the fashion industry's most visible and influential designers, buyers, and related marketing specialists.
"The Fashion Marketing faculty are excited that our AAS graduates will have the opportunity to continue their education in New York at LIM College," said Marilyn Sullivan, fashion marketing coordinator at El Centro. "It is the perfect place for our students to advance their creativity, put their marketing and merchandising skills to work, and to find their career pathway in one of the world's global fashion capitals."
This new articulation agreement with LIM includes other student benefits like a streamlined transfer process through customized credit counseling and graduation planning, internships, housing, and study abroad opportunities. Likewise, LIM has a number of scholarships available to assist students with the costs that are specific to transfer students and Phi Theta Kappa graduates. https://www.youtube.com/
