Information Security Forum Webcast to Examine Global Data Protection and Incident Response

Managing Director Steve Durbin Will Discuss How Organizations Should Apply Risk Resilience In Order To Protect Their Most Sensitive Assets
By: Information Security Forum

NEW YORK - March 8, 2016 - PRLog -- According to the Information Security Forum (http://www.securityforum.org/) (ISF), given the risks that cyber security threats pose in today‘s technology-driven, global economy, organizations must ensure that adequate steps are taken to preserve and protect the company’s reputation, stock price and valuable assets such as personally identifiable information (PII) and intellectual property.

Establishing cyber security alone is no longer enough. Today, risk management largely focuses on achieving security through the management and control of known risks. The rapid evolution of opportunities and risks in cyberspace is outpacing this approach and it no longer provides the required protection. Organizations must extend risk management to include risk resilience, in order to manage, respond and mitigate any damaging impacts of cyberspace activity.

During this webcast, Steve Durbin, Managing Director of the ISF, will discuss how organizations should apply the concept of risk resilience in order to protect these assets. He will also explain how having a robust data breach response program in place will help to manage, respond and mitigate the damaging impacts resulting from a breach.

Please register via this link (https://www.brighttalk.com/webcast/9923/184999?autoclick=...) for the free webcast which takes place on Tuesday, March 15 at 10 a.m. (ET). A recording will be available following the conclusion of the event.
