March 4, 2016 - PRLog -- Recommended for readers of preschool age through second grade, Author Grace Nava perfectly demonstrates strength, character, and emotional growth in a story that is easy for children to comprehend and identify with. From handling bullying to how to use its conscience and work ethic, the story’s hero, Little Peach Pit, provides a wonderful example of the skills used to overcome the challenges it faces throughout the narrative.

According to a review by Clarion Foreword, “In a world filled with negative priming, bullying, and put-downs, this book emphasizes the value of the individual, and that self-esteem comes about from persevering and doing the right thing. Using the peculiar characteristics of a peach pit, the book illustrates that differences make the individual, and ought to be respected.” Throughout the story, Little Peach Pit perseveres through bullying, hardships, and rejection, to become--finally--what it was meant to be with a little help from a Higher Power.

In addition to the book, which has been used by individuals, schools, and various children’s groups, the publisher is offering free lesson plans to reinforce the message of growth and perseverance for topics that are relevant to today’s families, including, how to deal with bullying, growth, physical and of character, and an ecumenical view of prayer. Illustrated by Kubra Aslan, Little Peach Pit is visually stimulating as well. The book, now in it’s second edition, is available as a paperback and on Kindle. For a limited time, from March 9, 2016 through March 13, 2016, Little Peach Pit is available for free on Kindle in both Spanish and English. Purchases for the paperback version can be made through Amazon.com at this link http://www.amazon.com/Little-Peach-Pit/dp/B00HEFDE5C.
