Given that Connections to Success’ mission is to inspire individuals to realize their dreams and achieve economic independence by providing hope, resources and a plan to their participants, they believe that it is important to celebrate the accomplishments of our local female leaders and inspire women who will become our future leaders.

Kathy Lambert, CEO & Co-Founder of Connections to Success, announced “We are thankful to be celebrating Connections to Success’ 15th birthday this year! As we celebrate this tremendous milestone, it is so exciting to have Nancy Lublin, founder of Dress for Success as keynote speaker and honorary chair of this event.  Dress for Success is a key part of our history and our foundation, truly a launch pad for the larger organization we have become.”

Building on Dress for Success, Connections to Success now provides an even wider range of support and resources for individuals who are ready for change.  Connections to Success and Emerson invite the community to attend this luncheon and help us honor the successful female leaders in our region.  The proceeds from Tribute to Success will launch a traveling boutique that will mobilize the Dress for Success Midwest program.  It is estimated that, without the traveling boutique, 1,000 women who are ready to work but lack the appropriate job interview clothing go unserved. The truck will also be used to sell designer women’s clothing.  Clothing sales will make the traveling boutique self-sustaining and keep the truck serving more people in the St. Louis community.  Fashion-savvy volunteers are needed for outreach events to help individuals select their professional clothing and to assist the resale store on public shopping days.

Through 3/31/16, a matching gift of up to $75,000 is available to fund the traveling boutique.  Matching gift donors include the Brown Sisters Foundation, IMPACT Group, and AGR Advisors.

Individuals, companies, and the community can support the Connections to Success traveling boutique by attending the awards luncheon, donating online, or by contacting the organization.
